Justice Buried by Patricia Bradley

Kelsey Allen owns a security consulting business that shows business owners where their security vulnerabilities are. Pink Palace Museum hires her to pose as a conservator to test their security system and she uncovers a murder. Detective Brad Hollister investigates and together they must solve this twenty-eight year old murder.

This is the second book in the “Memphis Cold Case” series.  While it is the second book, I feel it can be read as a standalone, but you might as well grab the first one and start there because you’ll love it too (Book #1 is “Justice Delayed”) I enjoy books that give depth to their characters so that you can understand a lot of their actions based on their history.  The message of faith and relying on God in all circumstances was weaved throughout this story, a great subtle approach to bringing in the biblical aspect without offending those without faith.  I like the witty romantic tension but I was glad to see it was a backburner part of the story rather than a central focus.

Is this a "Guys Book"?   I think all guys like to read stories of mystery and adventure.  This one, with all of the twist and turns will definitely not disappoint.
