The end of the first book in this series, “30 Days Hath
Revenge”, left our hero in a very precarious position. Luckily, the author saw fit to give us a good
synopsis of how we got to the spot we were in.
Without giving too much away for those that haven’t read the first book,
I’ll just say that this continuation grabs you by the seat of the pants and
never lets go. Blake Meyer returns and
has now suffered a personal loss, they’ve taken his family. As the clock ticks by, Blake is sure that he
has lost them for good to human traffickers.
Hot on the trail, will Blake be able to save his family and bring those
behind this crime to justice?
From the start, to the middle, to the end, this book never
gives you a chance to catch your breath before you are launched into a round of
action and suspense. The main character
is written with such passion and the story line flows throughout the book
(although, I think careens is a much better description of how the pace of this
story is). I do have an issue with some
of the grammar/editing in the book, probably my only negative part of this
book, but it is a something that will hopefully be addressed in future novels.
Is this a "Guys Book"? No doubt about it. Explosions, guns, interrogations….. All of
the trappings to keep any guy happy while reading this book.
