Oh
how I’ve missed you, Hidden Springs! That warm feeling when you see a friend
that you haven’t seen in a while and just know that you’ll going to enjoy your
time together. That’s how I felt when I
found this book in my mailbox. Once
again we are transported to the small town of Hidden Springs and the cast of
characters that call this town home.
(This is the 3rd book in the Hidden Springs series). Deputy Keane has his hands full in the main
story plot as not one but two bodies have been found in the local mansion. To make matters worse, there may have been a
witness who now will need protecting to ensure she’s not the 3rd
victim. As in the previous books, there
are additional interactions that keep the pace of the story from ever bogging
down (Go ahead and make a commitment to Alex, would you!). Murder!
Mayhem and definitely a book that needs to be read, so what are you
waiting on…. Go BUY THIS BOOK!!!
Is
this a "guy's book"? Not every
book has to blow things up to be enjoyed by men. This is one of those books that keeps your
interest, allowing for us guys to puzzle over the guilty party right to the
very end.
About
The Author
Hi,
glad you could stop by to get to know me better. I’m a country girl, born and
raised on a farm in the Outer Bluegrass region of Kentucky. I know you’re
thinking horse farm, but no, not out my way. Mostly cows on the farms around
here. My grandfather did have a big old workhorse when I was a little girl. My
family grew tobacco and corn. We had a few milk cows, some hogs and sheep, but
mostly beef cattle. I grew up working on the farm and enjoying the woods and
animals. My roots go deep in the land, and I now live on a farm just a mile
away from the farmhouse where I was born and raised.
I
started writing when I was ten and have been writing ever since. My first
published writing (personal experience pieces, youth stories, and poems) was in
church periodicals like Home Life. My first novel, A Forbidden Yearning, was
published by Warner Books in 1978 and was a historical romance about the
settling of Kentucky. Since then I’ve published over twenty-five other novels
for adults and young adults. Some of the early titles are out of print now but
still floating around out there as used books.
